Sheet Metal Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical solutions and troubleshoot client inquiries.

2. Collaborate with R&D to align product design with client specifications.

3. Lead commercial negotiations and draft contracts.

4. Analyze client needs and propose tailored solutions.

5. Develop new clients via trade shows, digital platforms, and site visits.

6. Maintain client relationships and conduct satisfaction reviews

7. Calculate project costs (materials, production, logistics, taxes)

8. Conduct competitor pricing analysis and propose strategies

9. Coordinate prototyping process and track timelines

10. Verify samples against client technical specifications.

Job Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

3. Technical Skills: Familiarity with ISO, ASTM standards; Basic proficiency in CAD/SolidWorks for technical evaluations.

4. Business Acumen: Expertise in Excel costing models and quotation tools; Ability to assess risks in contract clauses.

5. Soft Skills: Strong cross-functional collaboration (R&D, Production, Logistics) and a client-centric mindset with excellent communication skills.
