Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to the organization
• Develop, implement, and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the company’s financial stability and growth
• Oversee financial analysis, reporting, and planning, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with departments to identify and manage financial risks and opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, and government agencies
• Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders, ensuring informed decision-making
• Analyze financial data and trends to inform business strategies and drive growth
• Implement and maintain financial systems, controls, and processes
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements and tax returns
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the accounting industry
• Proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and management
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions
• Experience with financial software and systems, including accounting packages and spreadsheets
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with ability to guide teams and work cross-functionally
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Valid Malaysian work permit and resident status
