Process Engineer

Responsibilities:

To oversee and directing all activities in the project and operation management.  Motivate and lead a team in achieving production target and to endure resources are efficiently and effectively utilized in achieving the department’s objective.

1. Evaluate trouble-shoot and improve existing methods and production and process in order to optimize yield, quality, productivity and cost.
2. Liaise with equipment and material suppliers and production personnel to drive continuous quality improvement and cost.
3. Planning and monitoring the department daily operations.
4. Lead on all production related functions and activities to enhance quality and productivity.
5. Plan and execute production schedule to meet orders and stock requirement.
6. Work closely with the maintenance and QC divisions to resolve quality related issues and focus on continual improvement.
7. Maintain and improve Standard Operation Procedures and monitor workers to ensure compliance

Decision-Making Authority:

1. Ensuring that the production and operations processes are delivering their intended output;
2. Ensure that the integrity of the existing management system is maintain when changes to the management system are planned and implemented;
3. Report the effectiveness, suitability, performance, opportunities for improvement and/ or any problem (s) including noncompliance to regulatory requirements with regards to existing management system to Head of Department;
4. To investigate and provide appropriate report to top management if there is any non-conformities from customer complaint;
