Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of store supplies and materials by managing stock levels, tracking inventory, and coordinating deliveries.
• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, including stock movements, discrepancies, and storage locations.
• Collaborate with site managers and project coordinators to coordinate material deliveries and ensure timely receipt of materials at construction sites.
• Conduct regular audits of store inventory to detect any discrepancies, theft, or damage.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety procedures and company policies.
• Perform tasks such as labeling, packaging, and shipping materials as required.
• Assist in the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Develop and implement efficient procedures to improve inventory management processes.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the storage area and surrounding workspaces.

Requirements

• Education: Certificate in a related field (e.g., logistics, inventory management)
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
• Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address inventory discrepancies and other issues.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and site managers.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate records and inventory levels.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
