Responsibilities

• Assist senior accountants in preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform data entry, account reconciliations, and other routine accounting tasks.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial plans.
• Conduct routine reconciliations and research to resolve account discrepancies.
• Maintain inventory levels and perform inventory checks to ensure accurate valuations.
• Develop and implement processes to improve accounting efficiency and reduce errors.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Accounting or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Physical ability to sit for long periods and perform routine tasks.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
