Reservation Agent

INNSIDE BY MELIA is currently looking for a RESERVATION AGENT to join us. We are located in No. 693, Eko Cheras, N-G01, Batu 5, Jln Cheras, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, 56000.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and execute action plans to increase reservation sales and associated business.
2. Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/email.
3. Accept waitlist reservations.
4. Process amendments to reservations such as extensions, early departures, etc.
5. Manage “no show” reservations by investigation and recording of same.
6. Record special billing arrangements for groups and conventions.
7. Maintain knowledge of special rates/ offers/ promotions.
8. Monitor reservation levels and inform Managers of current and future occupancy rates.
9. Upselling hotel all products at any time.
10. Perform any duties assigned by the Management deemed necessary.

Requirements:

• Has a strong background in Hospitality & Tourism related field and working experience of at least 01-02 years
• Familiar with the hotel operations available technology (PMS, CRS, CM) and all distribution channels.
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexible and adaptable to changing work environment
