Main Responsibilities
To develop and maintain quality systems, rules, and processes to ensure fulfilment of internal and external requirements. Ensures that projects and products are capable and will meet specified standards Understands quality concepts, methods, procedures, and approaches. Technical and quality interface with stakeholders, suppliers, support product & process qualification, conduct surveillance audit (QMS/SRG/TRS/Process/Product), take corrective and preventative actions with supplier to avoid defect and continuous improvement.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Operation & repair shop Quality
Assist PQE/Quality leader in quality, maintenance, repair, and engineering organizations to improve quality of maintenance and repair processes, introduce new products and improve product design.
Assist in development & implement product acceptance / test procedures.
Assist & involve during investigations of major problems and of special projects.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
Identify, document, and analyze non-conformance issues (NCRs) and lead root cause investigations.
Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring defects.
Monitor repair processes to ensure adherence to established quality control plans and recommend process improvements.
Conduct regular audits of repair procedures, including welding, machining, coating, assembly & relevant operations activity.
Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and failure analysis reports.
Compile & monitor Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports on quality performance (e.g., defect rates, repair turnaround time).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality concerns.
Provide training and guidance to technicians and operators on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.

Custodian of Company’s ISO 9001:2015 Documents, Policies, Procedures and Forms
Assist to plan, organize, implement to assure delivery of refurbished gas turbine components that meets the Baker Hughes Repair Network requirements as well as the Quality Management System Requirements and fulfills the customer’s need and expectations.
Assist the quality of internal processes (as for example audit facilitator and management) and external vendors’ processes.
Assist for the quality KPIs and of the Cost of Quality and relative projects.
Assist & collaborate with Quality & operation Leader and Baker Hughes COE (Centre of Expertise) team to drive the Repair Shop Quality and share across the network opportunities of improvement.
Collaborate with Quality Leader to make sure that all Baker Hughes standards processes, and procedures are correctly applied.
Assist & coordinate the component qualification team to meet On-Time Delivery (OTD) of the component qualifications.
Assist & involves in continuous improvement activities and provide RCA/NCA when required.
Assist PQE/QL managing quality issues (qualification plan including eSQM, eNCR, eSDR, etc.) and drives the Repair Shop continuous improvement.
Address quality non-conformities, audit findings, and customer complaints.
Assisting Sales and Commercial Team in completing the Quality Questionnaires on customer tender requirements.
Maintaining Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Welder Qualification Test (WQT)
Maintaining Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Personnel Qualification
Conduct Station Audit to identify gaps and improvements opportunity in the process.
Supplier Qualification
Verify contractual and regulatory requirements are fulfilled, track progress, quality, and delivery time to meet customer expectation.
Review and execute quality plan, witness-points, quality records compliance.
responsible for driving quality with stakeholders and suppliers, improving quality performance via quality plan implementation.
Drive supplier selection through robust qualification processes.
Accelerate improvements in supplier quality and deliver value.
Develop positive relationships and work closely with quality and sourcing leaders to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, new product introductions, and transfers.
Interface with suppliers and supply chain to drive quality improvements.
Deliver results as measured by key metrics, such as Cost of Quality (CoQ)/Cost of Failure (CoF), qualification on time rate, supplier quality plan engagement / effectiveness, and corrective & preventative action closure.
Drive improvements utilizing Supplier Scorecards and own Supplier audit, ensuring supplier compliance, and driving improvement plans.
Understand and drive Six Sigma / Lean quality, internally and with suppliers.

Assist in internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.
Mechanical engineering background as the role expect technical reviews and assessment. Ability to read a drawing and understand specification.
Experience in conducting ISO or similar quality audits. IATC (Auditor courses) experience.
Ability to understand the product criticality. Experience in risk analysis and mitigation. This is very critical as we will come across these situations and need to find a solution.
Good understanding and working experience with global standards. At least awareness and management.
