Job Responsibilities
As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a vital role in our financial operations. Your tasks will include preparing and maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy in accounts payable and receivable. You’ll be involved in reconciling bank statements and preparing internal reports that support our decision-making process. Collaborating with team members, you will help streamline accounting procedures and contribute to our continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a relevant field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA or MIA are desirable
- Basic knowledge of Insurance Commission methodology, specifically Balance Score Card (BSC), is an added advantage
- A proactive attitude towards learning and adapting in a dynamic environment
