Ass Contract Manager

• The role will concern the management of schemes and projects across the various operating sectors of the landscaping construction trade, involving but not limited to the following
• Liaison with estimating to take responsibility for projects from contract award through to Final Account agreement.
• Cost management.
• CVR reporting and forecasting.
• Reporting progress to senior management
• Supply chain procurement.
• Review and compilation of supply chain contract documentation.
• Management and administration of sub-contractor accounts.
• Measurement, pricing, and valuation of post-contract variations Producing and submitting applications for payment
• Client-facing contract administration across several forms of contract including the NEC3, JCTstandard forms, as well as some bespoke forms.
• Agreement of Final Accounts.
• Provision of quantity surveying management to the whole projects team as well as the contractors and consultants as required.
• Supervising the performance of the quantity surveying team to ensure quality and timeliness in delivery.
• Preparing tender or bid evaluations. contracts. and recommendations in coordination with the quantity surveyors and construction managers or project managers as well as directing the negotiation of research contracts.
• Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures, enforcing rules, and making decisions about the purchase of materials to be used in projects.
• Ensuring that each senior or junior quantity surveyor runs his or her section to the highest professional standards, that all information is current, and that every member of the team is receiving the information he or she needs to fulfill their responsibilities.
• Provision of all the technical data to the projects team in the project’s reports and such other reports, exercises, or investigations required by the team or clients.
• Manage and prepares the management of provisional sum expenditures.
• Forecast and review estimation expenditures and prepare monthly cost reporting
• Preparing. as required, cost estimates for each potential change of projects.
• Quantifying and estimating costs for all proposed variations and change orders.
• Establishing and maintaining consistent and adequate administration procedures across the projects.
