Commis (kitchen)

Job Requirements:-

• A Commis Chef is a junior chef who assists in range of food preparation, cooking and plating.
• To clean and prepare all basic food items and ensures maximum usage on raw materials.
• To prepare daily, thorough mise-en-place of all items featured on menu and ensure maximum usage of raw materials.
• To help prepare orders according to established standards.
• To keep all the food items in proper storage.
• To bring requisite food requested from the store and to outlets.
• To work closely with all kitchen personnels
• To keep the work area cleans and tidy, and adhere strictly to sanitation and safety standards.
• To maintain proper personal appearance.
• To perform other duties and responsible that may be assigned by his / her supervisor from time to time.
