Fine Art Lecturer

As a Fine Art Lecturer, you will guide students through various art techniques and creative processes including drawing, painting, mixed media, and visual expression. You’ll help them develop their artistic skills, visual identity, and confidence through hands-on learning and constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach foundational and intermediate fine art skills including drawing, sketching, painting, and conceptual art.
• Plan and deliver lessons, workshops, and critiques in a studio-based environment.
• Encourage students to experiment with different techniques and mediums.
• Support students in developing their personal art portfolios.
• Assess and give feedback on assignments and projects.
• Assist in organizing student exhibitions or creative showcases.

Requirements

• Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related field.
• Strong skills in traditional art techniques (e.g., drawing, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media).
• A portfolio that shows a variety of personal or commissioned artwork.
• Passionate about art education and creative development.
• Good communication skills and a friendly, encouraging teaching style.
• Proficient in both Chinese and English (spoken and written).
• Prefer female candidates.
• Prior teaching or mentoring experience is an advantage.

• Salary Range: RM2,600 – RM3,000 (depending on qualifications & experience)
