Production Manager

Job Responsibilities

1. Production Planning: Formulate sheet metal and machining production plans based on orders and market forecasts, arrange schedules reasonably, and ensure on-time delivery.

2. On-site Management: Supervise production processes, optimize operating methods, and handle abnormalities such as equipment failures and process issues.

3. Team Leadership: Manage the production team, conduct staff training, work assignment and performance evaluation, and improve team cohesion and efficiency.

4. Quality Control: Establish a quality management system, collaborate with quality inspection, and ensure products meet quality standards.

5. Cost Control: Control production costs, such as raw material procurement and equipment maintenance expenses, and eliminate waste.

6. Equipment Maintenance: Formulate equipment maintenance plans, repair faulty equipment in a timely manner, and put forward equipment update suggestions when appropriate.

7. Safety Management: Implement safety systems, organize safety training, promote 5S management, and create a good production environment.

8. Departmental Collaboration: Communicate and collaborate with purchasing, sales, R&D and other departments to promote the overall operation of the company.

Job Qualifications

1. Education and Major: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in mechanical engineering, material forming and other related fields is preferred.

2. Work Experience: More than 5 years of production management experience in sheet metal and machining industry, overseas work experience is preferred.

3. Skill Requirements: Familiar with sheet metal processing and machining processes, proficient in using software such as CAD and SolidWorks, and have data analysis capabilities.

4. Language Ability: Fluent in English, able to communicate smoothly with local Malaysian employees and customers, proficiency in Malay is preferred.

5. Management Ability: Excellent organizational coordination, team management and decision-making abilities, able to solve production problems.

6. Other Requirements: Strong sense of responsibility, excellent pressure resistance and adaptability, and innovative awareness.
