Responsibilities

Purchasing Executive

• Source and procure high-quality goods and materials from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and optimal pricing
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial partnership
• Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to inform purchasing decisions, drive cost savings, and improve product offerings
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms, prices, and services, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive business growth, reduce costs, and improve efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide input on product development, pricing, and inventory management
• Implement and maintain inventory management systems to track and manage stock levels, reduce waste, and optimize storage
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide recommendations to management on improving procurement processes and policies
• Develop and manage procurement budgets to ensure effective cash flow management

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in purchasing and procurement, preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and procurement software
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and quality compliance
