Responsibilities
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Receives and stores ingredients, supplies, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Assists with waste disposal and recycling programs
- Maintains inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and equipment
- Supports kitchen operations during breakfast, lunch, and dinner services
- Maintains a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation
- Collaborates with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Adheres to menu specification and presentation guidelines
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg)
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Availability to work varied shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
