Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial leadership and direction to the organization
- Develop, implement, and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to ensure the company’s financial stability and growth
- Oversee financial analysis, reporting, and planning, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with departments to identify and manage financial risks and opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, banks, and government agencies
- Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders, ensuring informed decision-making
- Analyze financial data and trends to inform business strategies and drive growth
- Implement and maintain financial systems, controls, and processes
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including preparation of financial statements and tax returns
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the accounting industry
- Proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and make informed decisions
- Experience with financial software and systems, including accounting packages and spreadsheets
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with ability to guide teams and work cross-functionally
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Valid Malaysian work permit and resident status
