Job Description
Responsibilities
As an Account Assistant at GHQ Worldwide Sdn Bhd, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate and efficient financial records, including invoicing, reconciliations, and expense tracking
- Providing support for the accounting team in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Conducting research and resolving complex accounting issues to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
- Collaborating with the accounting team to identify and implement process improvements
- Assisting in the preparation and review of financial reports, ledgers, and other accounting documents
- Coordinating with customers and suppliers for financial-related transactions
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying and mitigating financial risks, and ensuring compliance with internal controls
Requirements
To succeed as an Account Assistant at GHQ Worldwide Sdn Bhd, you will need to possess:
- A Diploma or Certificate in Accounting or a related field
- Relevant experience in accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 1-3 years
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related accounting software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and technologies
- Honest and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
