Account Assitant

Responsibilities

As an Account Assistant at GHQ Worldwide Sdn Bhd, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining accurate and efficient financial records, including invoicing, reconciliations, and expense tracking
• Providing support for the accounting team in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Conducting research and resolving complex accounting issues to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations
• Collaborating with the accounting team to identify and implement process improvements
• Assisting in the preparation and review of financial reports, ledgers, and other accounting documents
• Coordinating with customers and suppliers for financial-related transactions
• Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Identifying and mitigating financial risks, and ensuring compliance with internal controls

Requirements

To succeed as an Account Assistant at GHQ Worldwide Sdn Bhd, you will need to possess:

• A Diploma or Certificate in Accounting or a related field
• Relevant experience in accounting or a related field, with a minimum of 1-3 years
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related accounting software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing processes and technologies
• Honest and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
