Job Description

Responsibilities:

Providing the services include but are not limited to the following:

  • Managing the Sdn Bhd company accounts and liaising with local or foreign clients;
  • Reconciling bank and vendor accounts, posting to and balancing the general ledger, processing payments, and compiling segments of monthly closings;
  • Resolving accounting queries and addressing issues that arise from client portfolios;
  • Verifying the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information received;
  • Preparing timely reports on Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (BS), Bank Reconciliation, and other necessary reports;
  • Assisting clients in setting up their business flow and handling payroll when required;
  • Ensuring clients’ compliance with all statutory obligations;
  • Prepare documents and assist with the audit and company income tax department calculations;
  • Performing other ad hoc tasks as needed.

职责:

包括但不限于以下内容:

  • 负责处理私人有限公司(Sdn Bhd)的公司账目并与本地或外国客户联系;
  • 对银行和供应商账目进行对账,记账并平衡总账,处理付款,月末和年末账户结算(monthly and yearly closing of accounts),并确保公司在任何时候都拥有准确的财务报表与及时向管理层汇报;
  • 解决客户组合出现的会计查询和问题;
  • 确保会计信息的准确性、完整性和一致性;
  • 准时编制月报与年度报表、银行对账和其他必要的报告;
  • 协助客户建立业务流程,并在需要时处理工资单;
  • 确保客户遵守所有公司法定义务;
  • 准备文件与协助审计(audit)与公司所得税部门计算;
  • 必要时执行其他临时任务。

Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma in Finance/Accounting/Auditing or equivalent OR a professional qualification under MICPA, ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent;
  • Candidates with working experience in accounting are encouraged to apply, even if they do not meet the formal qualification requirements;
  • Strong team player with meticulous attention to detail and resourcefulness;
  • Ability to multitask and work independently, demonstrating out-of-the-box thinking and self-motivation;
  • Proactive attitude and strong analytical skills;
  • Excellent client relationship and time management skills;
  • High integrity, excellent work ethics, and a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and discipline;
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with a positive attitude;
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Knowledge of Intuit Quickbooks Online (QBO) and Xero is an added advantage;
  • Tech-savviness with knowledge of Google Applications and proficiency in using mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets are added advantages;
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak and write Mandarin will be an added advantage.
