Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists in various dental procedures, maintaining a high level of patient care.
• Prepare and maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control guidelines.
• Take and develop radiographs as prescribed by dentists or hygienists, ensuring accurate images for diagnosis.
• Administer local anesthesia and other medications as directed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, and other staff members to ensure seamless care.
• Maintain accurate patient records, both digital and hard copy, while adhering to confidentiality standards.
• Assist in scheduling appointments and maintaining an efficient workflow.
• Perform disinfection and sterilization procedures, adhering to strict standards of hygiene.
• Maintain a positive attitude, being responsive to the needs of patients and colleagues.

Requirements

• Fresh graduate or diploma holder in a related field, such as dental assisting.
• High school certificate or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for delivering excellent patient care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, prioritizing cooperation and respect for colleagues.
• Basic computer skills, with proficiency in dental software and digital records systems.
• Certification in dental assisting or related field, preferred, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures essential for effective collaboration with dentists and hygienists.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and attention to infection control guidelines.
• Availability to work full-time, part-time, or freelance, depending on the needs of the clinic.
