Job Responsibilities of Procurement Development Engineer

1. Responsible for developing and expanding suppliers of sheet metal, machining raw materials and related materials, and establishing an alternative supplier database.

2. Research market prices and trends, analyze material costs, and provide basis for procurement decisions.

3. Participate in qualification review of new suppliers, sample testing and cooperation negotiations to promote the implementation of cooperation.

4. Track information on new materials and equipment, introduce cost-effective resources, and optimize the procurement structure.

5. Assist the procurement manager in optimizing the supply chain and participate in supplier evaluation and management.

Job Qualifications

- Education: College degree or above in supply chain management, mechanical engineering, materials or related majors.

- Experience: More than 3 years of procurement or supplier development experience in the sheet metal/machining industry, familiar with the characteristics and market of raw materials (such as steel).

- Skills: Have market research and cost analysis capabilities, mastery of supplier development processes, and proficiency in using office software.

- Others: Good communication and negotiation skills; priority given to those who can use English as a working language.
