Mould Repairman

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on moulds.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble mould components.
• Diagnose and repair mould defects, including wear, cracks, and parting line damage.
• Operate machining equipment such as milling machines, grinders, lathes, and EDM machines.
• Use precision measurement tools to check mould component tolerances.
• Polish mould surfaces to meet product finish requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and mould designs.
• Maintain proper documentation of repairs, maintenance schedules, and tooling reports.
• Collaborate with production and tooling engineers to improve mould performance.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness in the maintenance workspace.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in mould repair, maintenance, or tooling (plastic or metal moulds).
• Knowledge of machining processes and tooling materials.
• Ability to operate machining and polishing tools.
• Skilled in using measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Ability to read technical drawings and mould schematics.
• Welding skills (TIG or laser) are an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good time management and teamwork skills.
• Able to communicate fluently in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin
• Must have own transportation and a valid driving license
