It Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Design, develop, and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud).
• Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols to protect sensitive HR and payroll data. Ensure compliance with local data protection laws (e.g., PDPA in Malaysia).
• Strategic Planning: Align IT strategies with business goals. Lead the digital transformation of internal processes to improve efficiency across multiple brands.
• Product Support: Collaborate with the software development and R&D teams to provide the necessary environment and support for HR tech solutions.
• Budgeting & Procurement: Manage the IT department’s budget, oversee hardware/software procurement, and handle vendor relationships/licensing.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT support staff and systems administrators, ensuring technical issues are resolved within defined KPIs.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and manage backup systems and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead capacity.
• Technical Skills: * Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with ERP and HCM software (e.g., Sage, Oracle, or internal HR tech).
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, and data encryption.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills. Ability to translate technical jargon into business-friendly language for stakeholders.
• Certification (Preferred): ITIL, PMP, or cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP or CISM).
