Driver Cum Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Adhere to the Company’s rules and regulations at all times, including the proper handling of Company vehicles.
• Ensure that the vehicle is maintained in good condition, remaining clean and tidy at all times.
• Responsible for collecting and delivering serviced instruments, equipment, documents, and parcels to customers.
• Perform both on-site and in-house services and repairs.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure all items are kept in safe and optimal running condition for customers.
• Attend to equipment breakdowns reported by customers.
• Provide in-house support for the repair and servicing of electronic products, such as washing machines and refrigerators.
• Offer in-house support for the repair and servicing of audio & visual products, including amplifiers, microphones, and lighting equipment.
• Execute daily administrative tasks, such as recording field issues and updating service records in the SQL system.
• Generate daily reports detailing deliveries and services performed.
• Assist with event or project setup and dismantling as required.
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties and tasks as directed by Management.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Candidates must hold at least an SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Engineering (Audio, Visual, Lighting, Electrical, Electronic, or a related equivalent).
• Proficiency in the following languages is required: Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• A valid GDL (3-5 ton) driving license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of relevant working experience is required for this position.
• Essential skills include proficiency in computer applications such as Excel and Word, as well as internet applications.
• Experience in appliance and AV repair is necessary for this role.
• Applicants should possess knowledge of and be proficient in using electronic tools and diagnostic test equipment.
• Willingness to work at Permas Jaya, Johor, with occasional outstation travel as needed.
• Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively both in a team and independently, with minimal supervision.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible, hardworking, possess strong communication skills, and be a quick learner.
• Punctuality and a reliable attendance record are essential.
• Preference will be given to applicants who can join on short notice or immediately.
