Responsibilities
- Oversees the overall construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Conducts site meetings with project team members, clients, and stakeholders to discuss project progress, identify and address risks, and make key decisions
- Reviews and verifies project documentation, including blueprints, contracts, and payment schedules
- Conducts site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and project specifications
- Manages budget and expenses, preparing and submitting financial reports to stakeholders
- Develops and implements process improvements to enhance site efficiency and productivity
- Maintains relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and project continuity
- Coordinates with other teams, including operations, engineering, and procurement, to ensure seamless project execution
- Identifies and resolves site-related issues, such as material shortages, labor disputes, and equipment failures
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or architecture
- Strong knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and limited resources
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Primavera or MS Project
- Ability to work as part of a team, with a collaborative and flexible attitude
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills, with a focus on ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
