Account Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and maintain accurate accounting records for multiple clients
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor bank transactions
• Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
• Process invoices, receipts, and expense claims
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Liaise with internal team members and clients to obtain required documents
• Maintain corporate secretarial records for clients.
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in an accounting firm.
• Preferably with knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Autocount) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Provide on-job training
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Immediate available is highly preferred
• Deal with Singapore accounts & clients. Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and tax regulations is an advantage but not mandatory
• Full/Hybrid Remote Working Arrangement
• Chinese and Location in Johor Bahru is preferred
