JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Head of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care. Specific responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
• Managing nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
• Providing leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the delivery of patient care
• Serving as a role model for professional nursing practice

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate for the Head of Nursing role should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• BACHELOR in Nursing or equivalent qualification
• Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board
• Minimum 0-1 year of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices and regulatory standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage and motivate nursing staff
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
