Graphic Design Lecturer

As a Graphic Design Lecturer, you will teach students essential design principles, software skills, and creative thinking. You’ll guide them in developing their design portfolios through hands-on projects, classroom activities, and constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct lessons in graphic design fundamentals, layout, typography, branding, and digital design.
• Teach students how to use design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Supervise and evaluate student assignments.
• Prepare lesson plans, class materials, and simple assessments.
• Encourage creative exploration and visual problem-solving among students.
• Stay updated with design trends and incorporate real-world practices into lessons.
• Support student participation in design exhibitions or creative showcases.

Requirements

• Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or higher in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design works (branding, digital, print, etc.).
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Clear communication skills and a positive attitude towards teaching.
• Creative, patient, and passionate about mentoring young designers.
• Prior teaching or training experience is an advantage.

• Working days & hours: Monday - Friday (9.30 AM - 6.30 PM), Saturday (9.30 AM - 1.30 PM)
• Salary Range: RM2,600 – RM3,000 (depending on qualifications & experience)
