Marketing Specialist

About this Position

The Marketing Specialist will support the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives for Henkel Adhesive Technologies across various business units. The role is responsible for market intelligence, customer insights, strategic customer activation initiatives, and supporting business growth through close collaboration with business units and regional marketing teams.

The successful candidate will help identify growth opportunities, strengthen Henkel’s market position, and drive customer engagement by translating market needs into actionable marketing programs.

What you´ll do

Strategic Marketing & Market Intelligence

• Support development of local market strategy (market opportunity assessments, TAM assessments, GTM strategy etc.) in collaboration with business units and regional market strategy
• Lead market intelligence gathering including development of targeted intelligence dossiers with insights to support business decisions
• Support development of market positioning strategies for local market needs including assessing customer needs and designing clear integrated market positions covering product, price, engagement and distribution etc. (e.g. digital channel strategy, customer engagement strategy etc.)

Marketing Campaigns & Lead Generation

• Lead execution of initiatives in the country integrated marketing plans (trade shows, exhibitions and customer events)
• Support various digital marketing campaigns (local and regional)
• Support implementation of regional x-SBU transformation initiatives (e.g. Demand Center etc.)
• Work with sales teams to generate qualified leads and support customer conversion activities.
• Support communication and interaction with key internal and external stakeholders
• Support in managing local marketing team (including mentoring of junior team members)

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Communications or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years of experience
• Proactive, curious and self-motivated, with a genuine willingness to learn and develop marketing skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving capability and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI)
• Good project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Previous exposure to developing GTM strategies
