Core Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO and senior management to formulate and execute long-term strategic plans.
• Operational Management: Assist the CEO in managing day-to-day operations, departments, and teams to ensure efficient business processes.
• Business Expansion: Guide Retail and Institutional Dealing teams in expanding existing business and marketing to new potential clients.
• Market Development: Evaluate new business opportunities and oversee the opening of new branches.
• Policy Implementation: Establish and implement all activities, policies, and procedures regarding dealing, trading, and marketing.
• Regulatory Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with regulators to ensure operations align with industry standards.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Law, or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in stockbroking or capital markets, with at least 5–10 years in senior management or board-level positions.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid Capital Markets Services Representative’s License (CMSRL).
• Regulatory Approval: Mandatory approval from the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) prior to appointment.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of CMSA regulated activities, Bursa Malaysia requirements, and trading platforms.
