Accounts Executive

Responsibilities:

Centralised FX support for Plantation & Refinery in Malaysia

• Liaising with banks on receipts and matching of foreign currency proceeds and payment and updating of records.
• Perform forex contracts extensions.
• Checking and reconciliation of Forex position to bank record.
• Handling all Forex related correspondences and relevant documents for internal reporting.

Centralised Refinery Treasury functions

• Funds planning and processing, AR, AP.
• Borrowing and bank financing.
• Treasury related functions.

• Any other task as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/ Finance or equivalent.
• 1-2 years working experience in accounting or finance relevant experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to work and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
• Must be willing to be based in Ipoh and travel where necessary.
