Plant Manager

【Job Summary】

The Plant Manager will oversee all daily operations of the manufacturing facility, driving operational excellence and ensuring total customer satisfaction. This leadership role focuses on managing Cross-Functional Teams (CFT), optimizing labor margins and manufacturing costs, maintaining rigorous quality management systems, and delivering on key operational KPIs to support business growth and customer expectations.

【Key Responsibilities】1. Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Coordinate with functional managers to hire, onboard, and train Cross-Functional Team (CFT) members.
• Ensure the team’s engineering capabilities and management skills align with and exceed customer expectations.

2. Cost Optimization & Financial Management

• Periodically analyze gross labor margin trends to identify efficiency gaps.
• Define, strategize, and drive improvement activities aimed at transformational cost optimization.

3. Quality Management & Audits

• Maintain and safeguard the project quality management system to ensure compliance.
• Lead, coach, and prepare internal teams to successfully facilitate and pass annual customer audits.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Participate actively in daily CFT meetings.
• Provide strong operational support to Project Managers (PM) to coordinate and streamline production-related workflows.

5. Issue Resolution & Customer Satisfaction

• Lead root-cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives for both internal and external operational issues.
• Ensure swift resolution of issues with zero compromise on product quality and delivery schedules.

6. Continuous Improvement & KPIs

• Rigorously focus on operational KPIs, utilizing data-driven approaches to solve shop-floor problems.
• Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement (CI) to constantly drive quality, safety, and productivity enhancements.

7. Executive Reporting & Presentation

• Join Quarterly Business Review (QBR) meetings.
• Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations regarding operational performance and strategy to customers and executive stakeholders.

【Job Requirements】

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience:
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• At least 3–5 years in a managerial or plant leadership role (experience in electronics, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing environment is highly preferred).
• Technical Skills & Competencies:
• Deep understanding of manufacturing financial metrics, particularly Gross Labor Margin and plant cost-control methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and customer audit procedures.
• Proficient in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma principles (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Language: Native or professional proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills to confidently present during QBRs and lead international customer audits.
