Job Responsibilities
As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in managing our payroll processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing payroll transactions accurately and on time
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring compliance with legal standards
- Reviewing timesheets and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing monthly payroll reports and reconciliations
- Assisting with tax filings and queries
- Communicating with employees regarding payroll-related questions
- Continuously improving payroll efficiency and processes
Job Requirements
To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with:
- A diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- 1 to 3 years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
